Comic Text Effect
Download for free this cool Photoshop action that creates a comics book effect with just one click. The comics action works for text and raster shapes. It is better to rasterize the layer before playing the action. The ATN file contains two actions with small differences. After the comics action is ended all the layers remain intact so you can easily change the layer styles. You can customize the comics effect by changing the color, adding shadow effects and so on. All you have to do is play with the styles.
I have used for this action a halftone effect that you can easily remove or replace. I have also added a Hue/Saturation adjustment to replace the color easily using the Hue setting. The Comic font used in the preview image.
